The safety of the patients and the surgeon were the highest priority in the development of this finger switch. For this reason, a finger switch was developed with which the surgeon can operate, in a blepharoplasty, extremely close to the eyelid, by using adjustable electrodes from 7 mm to 14 mm. This increases the surgeon’s comfort, in terms of safe and good handling and improves the end result by using a safe and high-quality electrode handle. Furthermore, the safety of the surgeon and the instrument nurse is clearly improved because the risk of injury is reduced to the minimum. This is due to a special mechanism with which the electric needle can be completely retracted with a simple twisting movement.
- Adjustable needle tip electrode from 7 mm to 14 mm
- High control for the surgeon through the shortest distance in terms of the electrode to the eyelid (blepharoplasty)
- Maximum safety due to the completely retractable electric needle (no risk of injury)
- Ergonomic and slim to hold
- Time efficient
