PRP stands for “platelet-rich plasma”. The patient’s own blood is separated into various components such as erythrocytes (red blood cells), platelet poor plasma (PPP) and platelet rich plasma (blood plasma). In a second step, a thrombin-rich gel (autologous platelet gel APG) can be produced from the separated PRP.
The PRP obtained from SW-PRP contains a many times higher quantity of blood platelets, growth factors and proteins than normal products on the market.
PRP is used for the rejuvenation and cell regeneration of various bodily tissues. The activated cells in PRP can be injected, or introduced into the upper skin layer, with a syringe. a Vital Injector or with the CheylaPEN SW-PRP®. They provide for a regeneration and revitalisation of the skin, connective tissue, scars, muscles, joints and hair roots, a so-called autologous cell regeneration.

High quality is achieved by the sophisticated SW-PRP® system, the coagulum is mechanically separated from the plasma after the first centrifugation, so that a later mixing can be excluded. The quality of the PRP is further increased by the second centrifugation and it can be removed separately through various sampling ports. The SW-PRP is the newest generation for obtaining high-quality PRP.
